Two sides of one system
The company needed a tool for working with partners, while partners needed a cabinet for tracking clients and their earnings.
The cabinet is integrated with internal billing: clients assigned to a partner also appear in the internal system. Clients can register through a referral link, and manual addition through billing is also supported.
I was responsible for designing the entire cabinet. The client provided the commission rules. The main challenge was the financial data: partners needed to see current amounts and understand which operations they related to.
Commission alongside each client operation
In the client card, I brought together client details and their operation history. Each operation shows the service, date, quantity, cost, status and partner commission.
Partners can see how their earnings from a particular client are made up. Filters by period, status and service help them select the relevant operations.
Accruals and payouts answer different questions
I separated accruals and payouts into two sections.
Accruals shows how much was earned during a period and which operations contributed to it. The accrual card includes the total order value, the commission for the period and a detailed list of operations.
Payouts shows individual payments: amount, date, status, payment method and included operations. The accrual card links to the corresponding payout.
Pending payouts are shown by currency
For Pending Payout, I designed states for one currency, several currencies and no pending payouts.
Amounts in different currencies are shown separately. A long list can be expanded. An explanation next to the indicator clarifies that payouts in different currencies may be processed at different times.
Details on a phone and in reports
For the mobile version, I adapted tables into individual records. Each retains the service, date, cost, status and commission.
I also prepared exportable reports: accruals can be reviewed outside the cabinet in PDF and spreadsheet formats.
The cabinet is implemented and in use
All designed sections have been implemented. Partners work with clients, accruals and payouts, while accounting adds new services and tracks partners.
My work covered the entire cabinet, from structure and logic to responsive screens, reports and implementation support.
